Getting to the expo and start location - details are below - here is the map for the last 4km.

The entire run is on trail and mud tracks
For the runners there are 2 U turn points on the trail - The first for the 5km runners and the next for the 10km runners. Book early Plan to be at the start at least 30 minutes before the start of the race.

The runs are organised by runners for runners. Experience the thrill as you cross the finish line. The course is not muddy, stony and rocky so get your ankles strengthened and get a bit more sure footed in your training. The route will test your balance and agility in parts. The route is very scenic and you are quite likely to spot peacocks, Nilgai and perhaps even some hares.

We will have Water, Max Health Care and our enthusiastic volunteer support for you and a post run snacks.

An attractive medal, certificate for each finisher of the runs. Given the terrain there will be no water points along the way but the route will be well marked with chalk and signage. The post run snackswill be from 8:30am to 10:30am at the race start/finish location.

Location - Banwari Village on the road connecting Tata Raisina and the Faridabad Gurgaon Highway. Please see the directions below.

Race Expo May 19th Saturday 7:00 am to 3:00 pm.

Location: Village Bandhwari – Ideally come there for a brief run early morning and arrive at the start of the expo to make sure you get as much info can rest for the next day. The bib pick up for all races will happen here There will be information provided on the course – definitely plan to be there in person to get familiar with how to get to the start and also get somewhat familiar with the route.

The route is cross country, so strengthen your ankles during training. This is great terrain for eye and body coordination. It is breathtakingly beautiful too, especially the sunrise. If you are based in the NCR come on any Sat and Sunday and check out the route

Getting there:
For those coming from Delhi via the Mehrauli Gurgaon Road - as you cross Sikanderpur, cross the Bristol Hotel Round about with MegaMall on your right - That is the golf course road. Carry on down a couple of km and you will cross a round about, keep going straight and you will pass Central Park Apartments and the golf course on your left, and Ibis Hotel and later Centrum (a building with a cone) on your right. Carry on another km and you will reach a T junction which is the Golf Course Road Extension, Turn Left here and take a right after 100m on a narrow lane which goes down and then up to and around the IREO Site Office. Continue around another 500m and cross the village outskirts and turn right at the 200m long mud road. Take a left on the country road at the T junction- this is the road from Tata Raisina to the Faridabad Gurgaon Highway. Pass Behrampur Village and continue on the narrow country road. You will pass a Pink house to your left.

Shortly thereafter take a right on the mud track just next to an electrical tower and you are no more than 400m from the expo.

This is what the expo location looks like just now - everything about the run is absolutely cross country!! The runs will also start and finish here. For those coming from Delhi via the Highway - exit at IFFCO Chowk and turn left on MG Road and pass Metropolitan Mall on your left and then JMD Plaza. At Sikanderpur - turn right - you will then cross the Bristol Round about with the hotel on your right and carry on straight past Mega Mall - rest of the directions are as above

Try and car-pool - to stay green and not jam the parking area.

The EXPO will include information and sales by Salomon, SUUNTO and Running And Living shorts, undergarments and water bottle belts and more

Running Safe:
Running is a fun activity but running in a race, like engagement in any activity, also comes with attendant risks, which you should be aware of, and only then enter.

Anyone registering for this race should make sure that he/she is medically fit and does not have any precondition – however minor it may seem to them, that would indicate that they should not run eg being on some medication, onset of a cold or flu, not yet recovered from a flu or an injury etc.

This run is cross country which CAN have a incidence of ankle twisting, slipping and falling.
It is important to listen to your body and heart and not push yourself beyond a limit. Walk when tired.
This run is in the dry heat and requires regular hydration to ensure you do NOT get dehydrated or start cramping. Some ingestion of salty items – sports drinks or other solids or liquids is also advisable.

We want you to have fun and stay safe, and do your bit towards that.
